Internet Service Provider changed to Dhakacom as of January 1, 2006 with same speed, but lower monthly bill and more services. TK. 34,000.00 (VAT included) / month for same bandwidth provided by ArenaIT, however Dial-Up access for all Presidency Board Members, Faculty, Staff and Administration has been provided (3000 minutes / month included).

From 24/4/2005 till 14/5/2005 Internet connectivity was almost at 0%. ArenaIT MD and Marketing Manager Mr Rakib Ahmed came on May 10, 2005 as the Pro VC had called and accordingly the Radio Link is active as of 7PM May 14, 2005.

ArenaIT connectivity problems have become acute in the past few days. They shut down their switch when it rains and connectivity is lost. The ProVC has called and asked Mr. Tahsin to personally look into the problems that have arisen.

Dedicated link to ArenaIT was severed at 11:30 PM on November 4, 2004 (Thursday). Unable to contact the System Admin of ArenaIT get him to resolve the issue.
Came to the office at 10AM on Friday to facilitate the repair of the link.
Waited till 3PM and made numerous calls to ArenaIT office (Rezaul) and Mostafiz (System Admin) to get the issue resolved in the shortest possible time.
However, the two redundant links via their POP at Gulshan - 2 were also out of service, therefore, all 3 links were down. No resolution to problem.
Link was restored at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 6 after a 36 Hour outage. Talked to the MD of ArenaIT regarding the problem.
All redundant links will be checked every Thusrday afternoon to ensure that alternatives are available during the weekend if there is an outage.

Link was down for 45 minutes starting 10:40 AM on July 19, 2004, due to link problems of ArenaIT with their upstream provider Hawaii Teleport.
The other problem that was reported via email to both sysadmins on July 17, 2004 regarding the flooding / saturation of connection due to the UDP/TCP flood of ArenaIT's internal network has not been addressed or resolved. Have given them a reminder (Sobuz) regarding the matter again.

The ArenaIT Link has been up for about 18 days with less than 20 minute downtime, which is a huge improvement since it would go offline almost everyday before ArenaIT followed my suggestion and installed a second line to Presidency and a line to my house for monitoring the network.

* Internet Access down from 9 AM till 12:30 PM, called twice to ArenaIT as they were not monitoring the connection.

* Email ArenaIT System Admin regarding the routing issues of IP addresses.
